Why My Battery Health Is 98. Not sure why it always show 98 regardless of how long charged. Something is very wrong with the battery health on Dell.
Power off the laptop. When the battery is charged to 100 it will stop being charged. After calibrating the battery all seemed well.
A battery will have lower capacity as the battery chemically ages which may result in fewer hours of usage between charges.
Get Coconut or iMazing to check actual battery health and charge cycles. You dont have to force a full discharge you can just use it as usual until it turns itself off. You charged the phone to 100 everyday or several times a day. And now having decided to check the battery after regular use I see this horrid thing.
